There is one thing, making it difficult to answer your question is to determine, accurately, the end of Honolulu "Honolulu City and County of Oahu, also known as the rest of the beginning. From Hawaii Kai eastern part of the western Moanalua, it is likely about 15 miles, so it will take several hours to go. Pathway stronghold live here as a driver, to tell you, that depends on you what time of day to leave your house. Non-peak hours, you can drive about 40 minutes from the Hawaii Kai Moanalua, T-shirt. Peak time? Double at least. Once in the air, it takes about half an hour in the commercial aircraft from Oahu, Kauai, or Maui, maybe 45 minutes to Hilo. Therefore, from Kauai to Hilo, this will be a bit more than an hour, but I do not think of any similar non-stop flights.

In the other hand, you could take an Ontario Northland train or bus to Toronto, followed by a Megabus to Montreal. If you book well in advance you could get a really cheap Megabus fare and save a bit of money, but for the extra time it would take it probably wouldn't be worth it.

You might want to consider going the Rouyn-Noranda route. I imagine there must be daily bus service from and to North Bay and there are two or three buses from there to Montreal. Also, Air Canada flies from Rouyn to Montreal.

It depends on you from there to Los Angeles. If you are from the East Coast to Los Angeles to travel, you must be more expensive than Los Angeles, Orange County (California). There are many sites such as Travelocity, Expedia, etc. ... You can check it out.

Your question, I do not have any specific answers but I think there are some travel agencies to organize group holidays to do a group of 20 people (all strangers), where they travel, so my suggestion is to look at these organizations, group travel transport and hope you have a good holiday
